So i made a Gift Tin for a Family Friend who we hadn't had chance to see for Christmas as they don't live in the UK, We got to see them and i handed over a Altered Paint Can that was filled with Treats for them.

I wasn't able to get a photo of the actual tin i gave, as i had forgot in the excitement.
But i did the same tin as the one in the photo not so long ago for Lorraine as a little gift.
The only difference was Tildas Hair was coloured slightly different.

Finally found some "me" Time to be able to get a card done.

I have lost my mojo at the moment i seem to be out of practice making cards etc .
which is really frustrating, I don't know why but i don't feel as excited about crafting lately but hopefully that will improve with the more i start getting back into my crafting.
First thing first is to finish the new blog make over I'm doing on here, and then move my blog over to a different address.

Here is my card i done for the Sugar Bowl.

Challenge 1 - Sketch by Tiets
Below is my Card i have done following the Sketch above.

I really enjoyed making this card once i got over the frustration of not remembering techniques and feeling like i was starting from sketch as a newbie crafter lol.

I used a mixture of matting and layering, along with Embossing and Distressing with Inks.

There's a Hole in my Bucket

This weeks Challenge was set by Jenny on the Design Team,
She choose a Hole in my bucket
I want people to make their card etc with a Hole in it - It could be an aperture card, a shaker card or anything aslong as it has a Hole in it!
I don't really mean for it to be a bucket, That's just the song!

This card was a challenge in itself for me again,
Firstly as i haven't been well all week this is the first time i have attempted to do any crafting in over a week ( nearly 2 weeks)
Another thing is my Darling Partner brought me some Stampin' up goodies when i wasn't myself,
He got me some Whisper white card, I heard people mention this saying how it was brilliant with the sansdour stuff? personally i didn't believe it as i got on "ok" with the Papermill Linen card(front/backside depending on the look i wanted)
When i say OK , i mean its OK but it hasn't made me jump for joy and want to pick up my expensive pencils and do more , BUT Now I'm officially in love with my new Stampin up Whisper White card! everybody is right it glides so well , its just the perfect thickness for cardmaking ie for images, Nothing smudges, nothing bleeds, it just Glides!

Sorry i got excited over White card then!

Back onto my card for this weeks challenge...

The other reason it was a challenge for me is , its an A4 card again ( A3 folded in Half )
And it was the first time i have really used my pencils on a card and I'm so pleased with the colouring,
The Chair on the card i used a little Anitas 3-d Gloss, Over the "wood" to give really nice Rich Shiny wood effect, it gives the "bevelled" feel to the chair and makes it come to life.
I have also bevelled the Whiff of joy stamp onto the chair so she isn't laying flat, But i forgot to take a picture of that to show you.

Using my new Cuttlebug ( another new toy from my Partner )
I have tons of Cuttlebug Embossing boards, so it was time i got to use them?
So out comes the Christmas Tree, embossed behind the chair so it looks like she is sitting in front on a Christmasy day drinking her hot drink in front of the tree, The Tree has a slash of Green Gemstones on.

For my "hole" i have used 3 Eyelets, and also The Scalloped Edge at the bottom of the Green paper has Punched Holes in.

PNG Problems

Do you see some sites/blogs looking a little strange?

with boxes around images in a strange colour possibly grey?

are you using internet explorer 6 or below?

Then the problem may well be PNG files most people use these days

Now days people have turned to Firefox & similar web browsers that are alot more secure and have tons more features & personally i have never had a problem with it.

I just finished a blog template for a friend, And run into problems it all looked fine on all my pcs on firefox and explorer .

But the problem came for my friend
This is what she was seeing....
Now this is what i am seeing on both Firefox and Exploer

After Scratching my head LOTS I then relised that there was a problem with the software she is using, She is using Internet Exploer 6, I am using 7 on all my computers.

after doing some digging i came to relised this...

So if you are also seeing strange things on your friends pages and your own.
Then i would suggest getting firefox , its free to download and quick
Now if you dont want to do this i would then suggest you upgrade your internet exploer to 7 or above.

Cupcake Craft - Turn up the Heat!

This week over at Cupcake Craft Challenges, We were set a Challenge by Jennifer, Which was " Turn up the Heat" You can use any form of "heat" on your work, you could use Heat Embossing, Heat Tools, "HOT" colours if you don't want to use actual Heat.

This week i decided to try candles, Please note that i only made 1 candle before so I'm not very good but practice makes perfect eh!

After having such a busy week, so annoyed i wasn't able to join in ONCE again on my own challenge blogs, hey ho!

My Very First Time on the CCC ( Cupcake Craft Challenges ) as a Design Team member.

Challenge 7 ~ Christmas
Hi everyone,
Its time for another challenge. This weeks challenge is Christmas, you could make a card, a tree decoration, a cake, ATC, tag, anything. As long as the theme is Christmas.
Entries need to be in by Monday 6/10 9am (Adelaide Time Please)
If you go to the blog there is a little clock on there that tells you what time "Lauren" is in.
Gives us British people extra time!

Now i was told not to rush etc and not to worry about this week ( as i only had a couple hours notice while working on Cupcakes Blog Makeover)
But i really wanted to join in this week, I didn't think i would get a chance to but come midnight i quickly went upstairs and started to play, The card turned out a right mess! it was late i was tired, i Haven't made a card for a while etc

Anyways I stuck with it as i decided i liked the embossed lines too much to leave it!

Then Finally a light bulb moment! - I remembered all the fabulous Hanglar & stAnglar images i got last week, and i was able to colour a couple in on Saturday while in the garden.

So here is my super quick Christmas Card for This weeks Challenge

This weekend i ended up a happy bunny

First off i got to do a fabulous makeover on Cupcake Craft Challenges Blog ,
Which was super in its own rights, as the idea of doing something with cupcakes was very exciting and got me thinking all sorts! ( no really it did!!! )

Spiral Whisper Have a New Challenge up this week "COLD WINTER"
As i had so much fun making the below " Card Bag " i decided to make another one but this time in blues, for the Spiral Whisper Challenge,
Using Little Max sitting on his Christmas Present, I love the Range of Max & Milly by Janet Roberts, they are my favourite Spiral Whisper Stamps
( i do have tons more but i do like my max & milly )

I was a little late this week getting my work on the Blog,
Due to Camera Issues.

This week i decided to try something a little different and something new to me

I call it a Card Bag
Because it can be given as a gift bag, but when the gift is taken out it becomes a card in its own rights.

Below is photos of the Christmas Chocolate Delight Card Bag
(that will be filled with chocolates and given as a little gift @ Christmas)

As you can see from the photos,
The bag can accommodate small items or larger items,
When nothing or a small item is in the bag, it sits at a very slight angle to show off the card and can be tied with ribbon to keep closed.
When the bag is filled right upto the top it still sits nicely and the gift can explode from behind the card.

There is also a Winter Tilda Magnolia Stamp, Stamped onto Shrink plastic on the back that is a little magnet.

Sugar Nellie Blog Candy....

You may of noticed on my " blog Candy " side bar on the top right,
That Sugar Nellie have some brilliant Candy on offer as always.
This time it is a little different they wanted a New Header designed for there blog,
Well how could i pass up the chance???

So Today i got playing, inking up my stamps first off also..........

And here is what i have come up with i do hope they like it but I've never won anything in my life, so I'm not going to hold my breathe on this one.

But i loved doing it anyways. ( so much so i wish i hadn't done this blog now or i would of quickly scrubbed the text and kept it all for myself!)

I know i know, they only asked for a Header!
But again i couldn't contain myself once i got going,
So i ended up doing 1 Blog Header, 1 Matching Background, and 2 Little Logos to complete the set.

Basic Grey Challenge 1 & Copics

Well i finally managed to make a Card (first time in months due to work load) might not be anything special to me it is/was due to my mojo leaving the building!
( I'm not sure it will ever come back, Last time i actually placed anything i made on this blog was the 1st of June!!! but i have dabbled about since then and made the odd thing - Which i will get a couple on tomorrow).

But also i got some copics some time ago only 6 in flesh colours as I'm always annoyed at how my flesh/faces turn out even with the watercolours, and pencils i have.

So Yesterday evening i finally managed to have a play and I'm pretty pleased with the "flesh" results considering it was my first time of using them.

So much so that i loved using them my partner has treated me to 60 of them!!! ( i decided to hand pick my colours rather than go for the packs, and find i don't have the colours i will need.) and best thing is i managed to source some in the UK for £1.75( excluding Vat £1.44 each ) bargain or what!!!

They are only the ciao ones, i have got 1 of the normal, and 1 sketch and a couple of the ciaos an to be honest i prefer the ciaos, the normal one i couldn't get to blend as well, and the sketch to me is no different to the ciaos apart from the price.

So anyway's after that big ramble! like you wanted to know all that?

I'm very excited to be able to take part in the first challenge over at Basic Grey Challenges,

Martine has done a super job setting this blog up ,

so much so I'm all set up and sponsoring them already.

well for there first challenge: Buttons

The rules are simple, your work must include at least 1 piece of Basic Grey.
and also the only other important rule your need to know is,

and not made to combine challenges.

Now there is so many things you can do with Magnolia Stamps, You only have to look @ Myself & the Design Teams work this week!
You could do a Gift Tag, Bookmark, Atc, Scrapbook(layout)Page, Gift Bag, Book The possibilities are endless!
So The rules are, Anything as long as it isn't a card, Has to have at least 1 Magnolia Stamp on ( remember it doesn't have to be Tilda or Edwin) , And last of all most important one is HAVE FUN!!!

This week i done another Canvas Board This time a small one 10 x 15 Cm ( a6)
And I Used my Old Faithful chalks along with watercolour pencils for,
The sky was Chalked with Shimmer Chalks, Same for the Grass, and the Pathway,
Pathway was Hand draw by myself ( i need practice)
Magnolia Butterfly's in the sky,
Along with a Magnolia Dragonfly
The sun was chalked and water coloured by Hand
The Garden Fence with Gate, is Papirloftet Stamp from my store, That i stamped and water coloured onto the canvas Board,
Little Tilda was Stamped and water coloured onto some card, Then cut out and added on to give her a little 3d Raised feel, and added a touch of Clear Sparkle Glitter Glue.

Still busy with the shop and everything.

Also just picked all the New Design Team members for Tilda & Co, Was such a hard task!

Also managed to make a card last night and stamp some of my new stamps, and sat down in front of the tv and coloured a couple in,
Made this card for a Friend to go with something I'm sending her.

Just been playing at moment with digital again...........

Made another Blog Header. Its for a lady called kerry. I just hope she likes it .

Your have to click it to get a better look im afraid, as blogger scales them down alot. and makes them look all distorted.

I was stuck one night listening to my OH ramble on about something i honestly cannot remember what it was, while he was going on, i had an atc blank in my hand and My Third Coast Face stamp next to me, so i found i myself playing i made a simple little Atc .

Then i Ran out of Time to make a Card for somebody as a little Thank you,

So i had to rush as i needed to get it in the post, Which is where the little Atc i had already done came in handy!

Atc's are great for little card toppers for that " quick card "

So here my little Black & White Face card with a hint of colour

As the title suggest Fame at last...
It is only a little bit of fame, but im very pleased to be been contacted by Lets make Cards , magazine and asked if i could make them a card using 1 of my stamps that i sell in my shop,
It was a Papirloftet Clear Unmounted Stamp Called Joa & the Little Darlin Costs just £5.65!,(was £6.25)
Now there is around 10 of these cuties in the range, female ones also, i will be getting the rest put on shop today!

Boy can i just say Phew! i finally got around to getting my Tilda & Co Challenge i done , on the blog, and on here.......

Not had five minutes to myself lately due to the Magnolia Stamps being in store its been a bit of a crazy week with getting all the orders packed and posted before The bank hoilday weekend.

I wanted to try something different so i did another Canvas Board, and made a Tree house with my New Magnolia Stamps that arrived on Wednesday.

You cant see too well that there is a blue/white sky that is shimmery as i used chalks for the sky.

This could be as simple as having a Tilda or Edwin, that is holding something, you then stamp that image out twice, cut out the item he/she is holding and then layer it up with foam pads or silicone glue, to give a 3d effect

Or you could go totally wild and build up lot’s of layers.

This weeks challenge is.........

EYE EYE ITS A NATURAL FEELING....

For this week's challenge it's abit of a double up,
I Would like to see you use Eyelets if possible ( if you do not own them, then you can leave that part out or use brads)
Along with anything Natural, Could be fibres, Leaves, Straw, Twigs, Papers etc as long as it is Natural with Eyelets ( if you have them )

Now here is my work i done this week for the challenge........

I will just tell you a little about what it is,
Well i love my Garden natural string, But i am forever misplacing it or dropping it.
so i came up with an idea for a little box, the string sits underneath, and the string is pulled through one of the eylets, so i always know where my string is, it looks pretty and dust and dirt can be kept away from it also, as the roll is too big to go into a draw.
oh and it was made from canvas boards that i sell in my shop.

I managed to find some " me " time yesterday and made 2 more cards other than my Tilda & Co

This week ive actually managed to make 5 cards, which is a first for me at the moment as i seem to always be busy ( the OH knows this far too well!)

Well i cant show you all 5 cards, as 2 of them are for 2 different magazines,
Im being published!!!!
They contacted me out of the blue one day and asked if i could take part showing off a card i made using a stamp from my shop, so of course i was hounred to be asked and made a card ( male themed!!! arghhhh nightmare but i did it )
I posted the card & stamp off, and then i got email in the morning to say they had received it etc, Within a couple hours i got contact from the " sister" company of the orignal craft magazine, asking if i could send another stamp & another card in for them. but this one has a twist i had a day to get it done in! as they needed it asap for the photoshoot.
so i rushed around and managed to get the card done and in post on time yesterday morning so fingers crossed they receive it tomorrow(monday).
So thats my little bit of fame, being published into 2 magazines! not sure how big the spreads are going to be lol could end up being a 1 inch square with piccy of my card for all i know. but im pleased to have been asked and i enjoyed the challenges.
Will show off the cards once the magazines are out, First ones due out next month.woohoo.

Here is my Work i done this week, It is for Emma....
We are swapping some images i done Tons of stamping this week so much so my arm feels like it is going to fall off!
So this is a Card/Stamped Image holder.
It is made to stamp upright and look like a book, But when you open it up, Its got Ribbon Embeded into the Card and tied together to hold the Massive bunch of Stamped Images, Then once these are removed left with the card.

So heres my effort...

I been a very bad blogger and not posted any work for a while really .

I have been very busy with alot of things which will be annouced Shortly im over joyed about these but i wont let cat out the bag just yet!

Along with being so busy and not even having time to scratch my.... Well you get the idea!

My pc decided it needed a big clean on friday, It has silly little problems that just all got worse on Friday , Mainly due to having a Brand new router and Wiresless USB thingy! Turns out the USB Thing that cost me £70 from comet is faulty!!!!! i spent £200 on new router and Wireless Usb for my pc last weekend and i havnt been able to use it! , i could i spent that money on stash! argh!

Anyways i will quit rambleing now to cut long story short, PC was reformated Friday i managed to save most of my Work, and I am now hardwired into my router , silly wireless!

I thought it was about time i got my act together and starting actually putting some work of my own , on my own blog! rather than sticking other peoples on over @ Tilda & Co.

Here is My piece for This weeks Tilda & Co Challenge # 13 - Mix & Match.

I decided that it would good to try and see how many ways possible we could change our magnolia stamps, I know personally myself i feel sometimes they need a little changing to get there moneys worth? seeing as we all spend so much on them it be good to try get 2 different looking stamps out of each one?

So on to this weeks challenge.......

Mix & Match 2 Magnolia Stamp images together to make 1 Image,
Now this could be a simple as ,
Taking a Tilda Stamp with a Basket and removing this and adding a Heart from another magnolia stamp so she is holding that instead of the basket, Or it could be as simple as Tilda's Head on a Magnolia Horse, Have a play and mix & Match your magnolia stamps to come up with a Unique Magnolia Image.

Don't forget your work can be anything from a Card, Layout(scrapbook page) To an Atc, Altered Art Project , anything that takes your fancy , but do try to challenge yourself out of your comfort zone , as you may be surprised what you can come up with.

playing but not with paper

Well i have been playing with my craft goodies but not the sort you can pick up & feel etc.

Lately i have been playing with my photoshop....... Which is why i have been pretty quite on this blog, Lots of updates have gone over on Tilda & Co, New header - Thanks to Jo. lots of blinkys,
New background, colour scheme etc.

And also there is some big changes on here brand new Banner Made by my very own hands , ok they didnt get dirty this way! But i still did it all by myself.
Also with the background being changed and everything else so the new colour scheme fits in.

If you not already noticed its the same new colour scheme that we have over at Crafty Krafts shop.

Also i was playing this morning and thought i would show you all this is header i have done for my mate, which i was waking up this morning on the pc.

Also i made a promo box with the magnolias sale last Monday.

Im pretty pleased with the way the Digital things have come out? Seeing as its my first time really ever doing something like this.

Recycling Mothers!
Here is what Deb said she would like to see:
I have had lots of ideas but the one I like the most is Recycling! Because I am a huge recycling freak I thought it would be good to have a challenge where you have to use an item that has had a former life.
It could be a piece of card or paper from some packaging, cereal box card made into chipboard letters or shapes, ribbon taken from an article of clothing or chocolate box, old buttons taken from a garment etc.

Also we would love to see Mother's Day In the challenge.

So This week we would love to see your Mothers Day Art Work involving Recycling along with of course Magnolia stamps.

So get creative and take part this week!

Here is my entry this week that i have done,

Here i have made a Handbag Charm for my mother , using A Magnolia stamp , which was stamped onto White Shrink plastic, and then colored in using Gel Pens.

I also then looked around & Found a very good tatty children's bag, but it had some lovely lilac metal chain for the strap, So i pulled that off and cut it down to size i wanted.

Also added some mother of pearl beads and many more & A crystal i got from a RAK from Rosie @ Christmas in my Altered Tin.

Just hope she will like it now.

Button Doll Card

Rosie A Friend of mine last week while we was nattering away, told me about Button Dolls, I never heard of them before, So i went over to her blog had a look, and her work was Super...
So i went over to the other blog where she had joined in that challenge that said week, and i had a look on there at how to do Button Dolls. Well i was so impressed i said to myself i want to do one!

But with not being well and myself this week with a few things that have happened @ home, I kinda of stopped crafting.

Then on i received a message from a friend which made my day cheered me up no end made me giggle lots.. But i didn't feel right still so never replied, She has been giving me alot help & support in a matter that has made me feel so ugg the last 2 weeks.

Well last night i was feeling more myself a bit, and was going to write her an email explaining all my news etc,
and to say how i feel bad for ignore her last few emails etc

Instead i thought no i wont do that! i will make her a card but not just any card a Button doll card!

So i made this card

It isn't perfect as im not really into doing things like this normally as i find it takes alot of "creative juices" which i don't feel i have that much of, But I'm pleased with it anyways
And i just hope she likes it when i send it to her on Monday

The white circles with the ???? on , i edited on photoshop, as the beads used actually have her name spelt out on them and i didn't want " her" to find out the card was going to her before she actually receives it , Id like it to be a surprise

Just hope she doesn't guess i am on about her here lol

How to install a blog header!

I have been asked by alot people how do you install them? and i have installed a header but it doesn't look right?

So i have done this little step by step guide to help you all.

How do I add my new header to my blog you may be asking?

Well it really is simple to do, follow these steps to add your new Header to your blog.

1. Go to Layout,

2. Template, Page Elements

3. Header ( which you will see at the top in the middle)click on edit

4. Upload header from your pc, and mark” instead of title and description” under placement.

5. Click on save changes

Now your Header is uploaded onto your blog!

If you are using Blogger Free Template Herbert , Jellyfish, Harbour, Scribe, No.897/565, Thisaway, moto, snapshot .

Then you will not have to do anything else!

Now is your header not aligned in the frame around your header?

Please note if you are not using standard Free blogger templates then you will need to contact your Template designer or blogger !

Also This Frame was made a Gift For Christmas,
I made a few Gifts this year and although this is simple i was pleased in the way it came out.

The frame was in a yucky pine colour "natural" i think they called it but it looked pine!
So i watered down some white paint and gave it a mo re "natural" added a couple of chipboard shapes and painted them in white, added a few Gemstones that are in a pink, drilled a couple of holes and made my rope out of garden string, (my trousers were covered afterwards in string fibers! ) Then found a lovely phrase stamp added that to the center of a piece of once upon a time paper, printed out the main title onto some clear sticker sheets added a couple of glitzy brads.

I made some Tag cards the other day with a white flower on etc for Christmas cards, They all arrived safely apart from 1! , Royal mail decided there machines were hungry and decided my card would get torn to shreds!

So i wanted Crissi to have a card( altho she has the ones in bits i didn't think it really counted? lol)

so i flew upstairs in a mad panic trying to do her another card the same but i had run out of the flowers & ribbon i had used the firs time around

I was desperate last night to get a batch of Christmas Cards Done , as i was running our of time so i did a batch of cards very similar and managed to produce this fairly modern Christmas card , i managed to get 10 of these done and in the post today , So now just 11 more cards to go!!! ( that need to be posted anyways )

So far i have done around 60 cards!!!!

next Year my plan is ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK!!!!!! where i shall order myself to make at least 2 Christmas Cards per week! until next year where hopefully i should have around 100 made!

I made my card using a Penny Black stamp, Red mirror Card, Snowflake embossing powder ( used for the shiney glizts thats on the card , you may not see well on the main image thats way i taken some closer shots ) , handdrawn snowflakes / stars , also added a couple of little silver bows and the words Merry Christmas that been stamped onto board and then mounted on the lovely shiney card again.

I have been very slack lately with updateing this blog, between home life and everything seem to be going wrong - and Partners Granpa passing away, its been a very hetic Oct for us ( and its not even over yet its only the 18th!!!
Fingers crossed things don't get any more worse.... I wont bore you and go into details!

I have so much to blog about i cant manage to do it at the moment but hopefully by end of week i will be all up to date,

Heres a couple things that i can share with you ,

In a hurray needed to make a quick card so i did this sunday night,

Received these Lovely Dominoes in the post on Saturday from a member on the Forum,

And these are the dominoes i have sent back to her, we could choose a theme from Christmas, Wings, Animals or do all 3 as we had to do 3 Dominoes, So i chose to do all 3.

Early Bird

Well you know what they say about early birds and all of that.

I been up since 7am , Sore back, Tired, achy you name it I'm feeling it , for the last 2 days i have spent a good 10 hours a day on the Website things behind sences and in full show, But im finally getting there , Hopefully just today to go and i should be up to date on there.

So i thought seeing as im not awake enough yet to do any of that stuff, I will blog a little with my current projects i done last week and at the start of the week.

First off I have to give a big thanks to Jane Claire, She did her first ever Atc & sent it to me , its so pink! which if you knew her, you would know it was from her, She was first person that Made! me where pink & Buy it!!!!

Also last weekend i was having a play about with some dominoes they are not finished yet but i thought i would show you anyways.

And i made a couple of cards too which can be seen below:

Above card was done really quickly but i feel its simple but effective.

Above card i used a 18th Key Embellishment That can be foundhere, I did this card as i was messing around with my new happy birthday background stamp which i was surprised came out pretty good - Again a very personalised card for a Birthday in a super quick time if your in a hurry.

Well i heard how Liquid Pearl Paints can be used on dominoes and i had never thought of this before so i had to give it a go this is my 1st attempt using them this way , so my apologise that they aren't very good!

I stumbled across this challange Blog Today by Daring Cardmakers They have challanges every friday - so i thought i would give them ago as it will hopefully help me improve my cards.

On Tuesday i beleive - They slipped in another Challange which is...Dot Dot Dot Dash Dash Dash
We'd like you to make a card featuring dots and dashes, spots and stripes - that's it, a nice easy and fun little theme for you to play with - just make sure you get both spots AND stripes on your card. We'd love to see your dotty, spotty, stripey creations so please come back and leave a message when you're ready to share.....

So i had a look around my craft stash and i remembered i had some Christmas Papers in the Docraft goody bag i got the other week,
Which just happened to have both dots & Dashes on it!
So i Covered a tall slim Card in the lovely paper, stamped my snowman image onto card and coloured in useing whisper pens, mounted that onto a bit of freebie paper i had in my stash , & added a blue eyelet to the top left along with some funky blue fibers.
Then i mounted that onto the card along with some Dovecraft christmas corners and added a Vellum " Sparkle" christmas Sticker that i also found in this months DoCrafts Goody Bag!

ATC Night

While clearing away last night i decided i would use up the scraps i had out on my desk rather than put them away in there ever exploding scraps box.

So i decided to make some ATC's - For the Poppy ATC i used Dufex Decoupage sheet .

For the Below Bloom - I Used again Dufex Decoupage sheet and also a Chipboard Accent.

For The Pretty Pink Atc I used a couple of bits of scrap paper from my Paper Stacks and Stamped Dress image & Coloured in with whisper pens, then added a few Gem Stones, And also a chipboard Accent.

For the Below Friend Atc , I used Black & White DCWV Paper Stack, along with the Friends phrase Rub on and a Gem stone, and then a shoe peel off - which i then glittered.
This Swirly Flower Atc again using my scraps of paper from my stash i covered the ATC and then Cut some of the flowers out and layered them on top along with adding some Gem stones.

The below Boot ATC was made again with the paper scraps from my stash , added a eyelet to the top of the boot Die Cut and then added a mini Brad Through it so it gives movement, And then added the Laugh Chipboard Phrase accent.

The Below Walk ATC was made in the same way using the same scrap of paper, Added a die cut Boot and outlined the stitching with Liquid Pearls & then added a chipboard accent .

This Butterfly ATC was again made using the scraps of Paper, and a butterfly image stamped onto white card and then a few Gem's were added along with Metal wire poking out the top of the butterfly.
Added a Peel off boarder around the whole thing & a Corner.

Well Last night i made 4 Girly Birthday Cards, All in 1 Hour!!! - I shocked myself at how good they came out, Well not fully Pleased with the last card ( seen below ), Think i was starting to get a bit tired at that point.

By now you've probably finished making you cards, so for a change we thought we'd get you making some gift tags. However, if you've still got cards to make, then you can always use tags on cards instead.
It's up to you, as long as there's a tag involved it's fine by us!

The Below Card was used With the Topper Technique .. The Topper was from a Swap on Aunty's Forum - Made by Ali
All i did was simply add it to a Card blank, Add the peel off's at the bottom and added a couple of Gem Stones - And Viola! we have a Birthday Card, So Simple & Quick with the Topper Technique.

Well its only August but i thought last night i really must start making some Christmas cards, Knowing my luck I'll leave it until the last moment - where then i would be rushed off my feet!

Found my Cardmaking Mojo

Well for some time now i have not really made a Card, Done plenty of Dominoes, LO's ( Scrapbook pages ) and Atc's and much more ....

But as for Cardmaking it seems to have taken a step back! which is a bit annoying & at the same time upsetting as Cardmaking really is my 1st love, But for some reason or other i lost my love & mojo for making them, it seemed to turn into a chore...

Well recently i brought lots of goodies to make Toppers with , i've thought if i make the toppers and keep them in boxes in there themes, Ie Christmas, Boys Birthdays , Girls, Weddings etc...
When i come to needing a card if i don't have a suitable one already made in my box , I could simply chose a topper & a card blank and then make the card which will take me at the very top & i say very top 30minutes!
I feel that this system is alot better than staring blank at a Cardstock - And wondering where to start ? What to do ? How to do it?

Now all i have to do is start making all the lovely toppers - Which strangely enough i seem to love doing?

Here is a card i made late last night before i went to bed , using the Topper method ( well i had to make the topper first as i don't have any made yet! )

I decided from now all instead of stamping onto a bit of paper or a preprinted " Inside Reads" Card - I will stamp the inside images onto Super Large Tags, Which you can then see what the greeting inside reads but also you receive a Free matching Gift Tag when the card is brought!

I Need a frame

Well i received some lovely dominoes over the weekend from a forum swap on Aunty's, I received my fabulous Dominoes from Ali.

And i wanted to display them with the rest, But one small problem - Have not got any of the chipboard boxes, never do i have any box frames or anything else i can use...

So looking around pulling bits out here and there i finally came across my Jenga pieces ( i brought it a while back for the tin! - Honest sir! )

Well this is what they looked like before hand...

and this is what they looked like after ......

Sorry pictures not too great acetate doesn't like being photographed well it tends to go funny and distorts everything even though its crystal clear to look at in real .

The supplies i used to make this was, 6 Jenga wooden blocks , Acetate , 8 Nails, Ribbon , Backing paper & Board and also Black , Copper Reeves Acrylic paints.

Framing

Well i made some lovely dominoes and wanted to display them on a wall, but not have to go out and buy them expensive box frames........
so me being me hates throwing lovely packaging out, I was able to recycle a box i got when i brought some chipboard letters.

This is what it looked like before ....

And with a little bit of Reeves Acrylic paint ( used white & Copper ) , Gem stones & some chipboard accents, sticking the dominoes inside behind the acetate..

Viola i was able to come up with this...

My First ever Oriental Card

Ok So its getting near to my Partners Birthday & his Brothers ( there twins if you didn't know ) - Well i didn't want to just do a basic everyday " Congrats it's your birthday" Card . I wanted it a bit personalised but not over personalised, Yep you guessed it im a bit fussy, So i Decided that i would chose a theme that i know His brother is into , Which happens to be Oriental.

Right panic Stations for me .. An Oriental card!!! - I have firstly never done a Oriental Card , Secondly never even owned anything Oriental to make something, So i went on ebay had a look about and found some lovely Peel Off's and thought well there cheap, I'll give it ago rather than spending the money out on a nice expensive Oriental stamp that i may never use again.

This is the outcome of my First ever Oriental Card for his Birthday ( i do hope he never finds this blog and reads it Especially before the 23rd Aug - There Birthdays!

Altering Miniature Dominoes

I recently heard about Miniature Dominoes, They are only 25mm x 12mm x 3mm so tiny!
Well that was it then i wanted some, After Hunting and hunting i have finally got some Miniature Dominoes - A Friend on Aunty's Forum, kindly sent me some to get on with in the meantime so which im very greatfull for as she has let me get creative while im awaiting my stock of Miniature's.

Altering Standard Dominoes

Well a while ago now i started to hear about people altering Dominoes , Which got me intrigued so i just had to look a bit further into how you do them, what they could look like, and most of all the most important thing - How easy they are to do!

Well after researching on the internet i came across some fabulous websites that have showcases of tons of altered dominoes - they are far greater than i could ever imagine!

You guessed it, I just had to get started and trying to alter some Dominoes Myself , At first i started off with a standard size Domino piece - They need to be either a white/creamy Colour as they are easier to paint on.. Dominoes can be found on sale @ Crafty Krafts 6 for £1.00.

Here are some Pictures of the Altered Dominoes i have Done using the Standard sized Dominoes 1" x 2 "

This set i made into a Keyring & a book , Below is the inside view of the book, it can be hung up onto the wall with the little tab at the top of the book.

The above Domino Jewellery Set was made into a Domino Necklace & Earring Set

All these Dominoes have been created using the Standard White Dominoes that are 1" x 2" & Then inked up using Adirondack Alcohol Ink's , For the backgrounds - Stamped images on using Black Stazon.
