Monday 5 May 2008 - Labels: Magnolia Stamps - 3 Comments
Not had five minutes to myself lately due to the Magnolia Stamps being in store its been a bit of a crazy week with getting all the orders packed and posted before The bank hoilday weekend.
Anyways enough of my rambles...............
Below is my work i did for Tilda & Co
I wanted to try something different so i did another Canvas Board, and made a Tree house with my New Magnolia Stamps that arrived on Wednesday.
Below is alot of pictures of my canvas, as you need to see it at all angles to get the 3d Decoupaged look, as it looks flat on the main image.
You cant see too well that there is a blue/white sky that is shimmery as i used chalks for the sky.
The items used were......
Butterflies Magnolia Stamp
Dragonfly Magnolia Stamps
Fern Magnolia stamp
Owl Magnolia Stamp
Sweet Flower Magnolia Stamp
Grass Magnolia Stamp
House Magnolia Stamp
Winter Tree Magnolia Stamp
Ladder Magnolia Stamp
Goblin William Magnolia Stamp
Tree Trunk Magnolia Stamp
Large Circle Canvas Board
Eyelets & String
Watercolour Pencils/Pens
Shimmery Chalks
Now if you would like to take part pop over to my challenge blog and join in the fun , below is the challenge for this week.
Decoupage Tilda & Co
Now for this week..... I would love to see you decoupage with your magnolia stamps.
This could be as simple as having a Tilda or Edwin, that is holding something, you then stamp that image out twice, cut out the item he/she is holding and then layer it up with foam pads or silicone glue, to give a 3d effect
Or you could go totally wild and build up lot’s of layers.

Donna, this is absolutely fantastic, so much work but well worth it. Do you make this on ordinary pre-stretched canvas, I would love to have a try if you do not mind, obviously will not use the same stamps, I would love to make a picture to hang rather than cards that I just put away after a couple of weeks. Thanks for the inspiration Hugs Jacqui x
if you goto my store, and click on canvas boards you can see the ones ive used .. will try email you now incase you dont see this message lol
Oh Donna this is fab, was it difficult to blend the colours on the canvas?
